- My entire life has been spent searching for answers to the questions I see repeated in my life. Dozens of books, thousands of radio programs, hundreds of seminars and workshops have not done as much as even the first 5 weeks of Phase 1. My life totally changed, as I am as well, from the inside out. After one year in the program (Phase 1 twice) - I am blown away by the immense changes in myself and my daughters. The ripple effect is enormous. I once again am strong and healthy enough to volunteer despite working 2 jobs and single parenting. The flow of peace I experience daily is totally different than anything I could ever have wished for. I am still in process, but can see how far I've come. Thank You!
- The things I do now just totally blow people away that really know me (or who I was)! The reactions/attitudes from everyone is unreal. No one believed in me, no one believed I could do it (not even myself)! But the only thing that matters to me is that my family has seen it work and they trust me. That also means they trust you and the class. That's all that matters to me, their happiness. You made this all possible! For that I am grateful!
- My children really seem to be coming around to me. They talk to ME and seem to want to be around ME. Especially my 14 year old daughter who talks and says thing to me like a friend. That is neat. My son asked me if I would be at his school performance next Thursday. I told him, "No, I need to finish my class out". He said it was okay, that he knew I needed to be here. It was like he really understood how important Life Skills was to me and our family. My son, who is 10, said he would have my wife videotape it for me.
- Life Skills has given me a part of life that I was missing. It basically help me to see that there is good in myself. I never received that part in my childhood. It was hard to believe that I had self-worth. It's taking time, but it is becoming easier. It has helped my relationship with my wife. But I am happiest about what it has done for my children. They WANT to be around me. I want them to be healthy, well-rounded individuals and hopefully I will now be a good role model for them. Thanks for helping me start my life anew.
- This class has been a life-changing program for me. I was on the verge of leaving my second husband, losing control of my life and feeling like no one cared. In this class I learned where my anger comes from, why it's there, and how to effectively deal with it. I have learned when I need to call "Time Out" before I explode and therefore a better mother to my four children. I feel that anyone who has a relationship, whether it be spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, or child needs this program just to have a healthy balance in that relationship.
- I was speaking to a friend about this program. It amazed me how many people could be helped by this program. My friend asked if I thought everyone could be helped in some way by this program. I really believe the answer is YES. Even if a person is not "arrested in development" they could gain understanding and compassion for those who are.
